North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown overwhelms Central Academy
December 1, 2022: Monroe, NC 28112 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) and the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), saw A.L. Brown's basketball squad wallop Central Academy by a tally of 59-29.
With the victory, A.L. Brown improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wonders host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Cougars play the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Central Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 36-27 non-league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
