The West Mecklenburg Hawks basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Sugar Creek Wildcats to 35 in the Hawks non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding University for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. West Mecklenburg will battle a Rams team coming off a 65-16 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
