Iowa High School Basketball - Edgewood-Colesburg ripped by Alburnett
December 1, 2023: Alburnett, IA 52202 The Alburnett Pirates basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings to 21 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maquoketa Valley for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 5.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, MFL MarMac was routed by Kee (Lansing, IA), 59-57, in a league contest.
