December 1, 2023: Ellicott City, MD 21042 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD) and the visiting Bishop Loughlin Lions (Brooklyn, NY), saw Glenelg Country's basketball squad knock off Bishop Loughlin by a tally of 47-38.
With the victory, Glenelg Country improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 55-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)
Next up, the Lions play the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Bishop Loughlin will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
