South Carolina High School Basketball - Branchville nips Lake Marion

Branchville Yellow Jackets (Branchville, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Branchville upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host North (North, SC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

In their next game, the Gators face the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 2. Lake Marion will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 86-51 non-league win over Timberland (St. Stephen, SC).
