December 1, 2023: Shiprock, NM 87420 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) and the visiting Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM), saw Shiprock's basketball squad overcome Dulce by a tally of 80-63.
With the victory, Shiprock improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Whitehorse won 45-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Dulce will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 70-32 non-league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM).
