Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Unity Reed Lions (Manassas, VA), 52-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern View upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Fighting Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Orange County won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA)

Next up, the Lions play the Bethel Academy Eagles (Manassas, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Unity Reed will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 73-67 non-league loss to Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA).
