The Foothill Cougars basketball team (Palo Cedro, CA), was nudged 55-54 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA)

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. University Prep will battle a Vikings team coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Lodi (Lodi, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, West Valley was nudged by Enterprise (Redding, CA), 63-47, in a non-league battle.
