December 1, 2023: Lewisville, NC 27023 The Forsyth Country Day Furies basketball team (Lewisville, NC), was nudged 76-72 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC)
The Eagles now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King's Fork for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. NC GBB Academy National will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 77-48 league win over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Furies (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Orange was nudged by Jordan (Durham, NC), 75-62, in a non-league battle.
