December 1, 2023: Oregon City, OR 97045 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR) and the visiting Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR), saw Oregon City's basketball squad hold off Gresham by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Oregon City improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Southridge (Beaverton, OR) to confront the Skyhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Southridge won 95-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (Portland, OR)
Next up, the Gophers confront the Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Gresham will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Democrats come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 80-69 non-league win over Jesuit (Portland, OR).
