Delaware High School Basketball - Worcester Prep edges Indian River
December 1, 2023: Dagsboro, DE 19939 The Worcester Prep Mallards (Berlin, MD) basketball nipped the host Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), 52-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mallards (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE). The Royals go into the Eastern Shore test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Delmarva Christian got by Delmar (Delmar, DE), 54-49, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Henlopen - Southern test on Tuesday, December 12.
