Louisiana High School Basketball - Kennedy tops Slidell
December 1, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70122 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA), saw Kennedy's basketball squad knock off Slidell by a tally of 54-40.
With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Archbishop Rummel lost 55-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Walker (Walker, LA)
Next up, the Tigers play the West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Slidell will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 85-53 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA).
