Mississippi High School Basketball - New Site routs Thrasher
December 1, 2023: New Site, MS 38859 In Friday's non-league outing, the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS), by a count of 71-40.
The Royals (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Pontotoc smashed South Panola (Batesville, MS), 59-52, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Tupelo Christian Prep for a 1A Region 1 outing on Tuesday, December 5. Thrasher will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 61-33 league loss to Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
