The Tyler Lions basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Pollok Central Bulldogs to 46 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Tyler will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Dallas, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Bullard was defeated by Longview (Longview, TX), 60-32, in a non-league contest.
