Louisiana High School Basketball - Southern Lab tops Rayne
December 1, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70813 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA), saw Southern Lab's basketball squad knock off Rayne by a count of 52-41.
With the victory, Southern Lab upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Kittens host St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. St. Martinville won 38-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA)
Next up, the Wolves play the Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Rayne will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 66-61 non-league loss to Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA).
