The Wichita Falls Coyotes basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Vernon Lions to 57 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archer City for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Wichita Falls will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.

The Lions now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Newcastle for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 2.
