Washington High School Basketball - Ferris can't hold off Southridge
December 1, 2023: Kennewick, WA 99338 The Southridge Suns basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Ferris Saxons to 48 in the Suns non-league victory on Friday.
The Suns now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Selah for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Southridge will battle a Vikings team coming off a 49-14 non-league win over Toppenish (Toppenish, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
The Saxons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chiawana (Pasco, WA). The Riverhawks come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Chiawana was nudged by Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), 48-41, in a non-league contest.
