Central Heights Blue Devils (Nacogdoches, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Heights upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Midland (Midland, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Midland won 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Giddings (Giddings, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Alvin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 45-37 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, TX).
