Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) and the host Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY), saw Saranac Lake's basketball squad hold off Boquet Valley by a count of 44-37.

With the victory, Saranac Lake upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Red Storm host Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
