Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) and the visiting Bottineau Braves/Stars (Bottineau, ND), saw Thompson's basketball squad hold off Bottineau by a tally of 53-46.

With the victory, Thompson improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tommies travel to South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. South Prairie/Max won 62-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND)

Next up, the Braves/Stars confront the Trinity Titans (Dickinson, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Bottineau will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 51-23 non-league win over Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND).
