Texas High School Basketball - Burnet crushes Rogers
December 1, 2023: Rogers, TX 76569 Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rogers Eagles (Rogers, TX), 45-12 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Burnet upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Salado (Salado, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Salado won 54-36 in their recent non-league bout against McNeil (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Weimar Wildcats (Weimar, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Rogers will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 55-40 non-league loss to Bosqueville (Waco, TX).
