Tennessee High School Basketball - Cheatham County Central holds off Westmoreland
December 1, 2023: Westmoreland, TN 37186 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cheatham County Central Cubs (Ashland City, TN) and the host Westmoreland Eagles (Westmoreland, TN), saw Cheatham County Central's basketball squad hold off Westmoreland by a tally of 36-30.
With the victory, Cheatham County Central improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Greenbrier won 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against White House-Heritage (White House, TN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Macon County Tigers (Lafayette, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Westmoreland will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 101-11 non-league win over Glencliff (Nashville, TN).
