The Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Fort Hancock Mustangs (Fort Hancock, TX), 42-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lobos (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Austin notched a victory over Loretto (El Paso, TX), 33-20, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Alpine for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Fort Hancock will encounter a Bucks squad coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Bucks record now stands at 1-4.
