December 1, 2023: Hobbs, NM 88240 The Lubbock Westerners basketball team (Lubbock, TX), was overwhelmed 69-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM)
The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Organ Mountain for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2.
The Westerners (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Bronchos come into the non-league battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Odessa was overwhelmed by East Central (San Antonio, TX), 49-19, in a non-league battle.
