December 1, 2023: Mumford, TX 77867 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX) and the visiting Milano Eagles (Milano, TX), saw Mumford's basketball squad overcome Milano by a tally of 37-25.
With the victory, Mumford improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX) to confront the Bumblebees in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Bumblebees come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Little River Academy won 41-30 in their recent non-league contest against Bosqueville (Waco, TX)
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Weimar was defeated by Rogers (Rogers, TX), 48-27, in a non-league contest.
