Texas High School Basketball - Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial can't hold off Rio Hondo
December 1, 2023: Alamo, TX 78516 The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines basketball team (Alamo, TX), was nudged 51-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX)
The Bobcats now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. Rio Hondo will battle a Javelinas team coming off a 60-40 non-league loss to Progreso (Progreso, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 1-3.
The Wolverines (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sharyland (Mission, TX). The Rattlers come into the 5A Region IV District 31 battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Sharyland was nudged by Martin (Laredo, TX), 21-14, in a non-league battle.
