North Carolina High School Basketball - East Forsyth nips Mallard Creek
December 1, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) and the host Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), saw East Forsyth's basketball squad hold off Mallard Creek by a tally of 44-39.
With the victory, East Forsyth improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. High Point Christian Academy lost 62-61 in their recent league challenge against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Mallard Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 53-41 non-league win over East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
