December 1, 2023: Henderson, NC 27536 The Falls Lake Firebirds basketball team (Creedmoor, NC), was overwhelmed 54-18 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC)
The Knights now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neuse Charter for a non-league battle on Monday, December 4. Vance Charter will battle a Cougars team coming off a 61-29 non-league loss to East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
The Firebirds (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Clover Garden School trounced Eno River (Hillsborough, NC), 52-49, in a non-league battle.
