California High School Basketball - Mater Dei Catholic overwhelmed by San Marcos
December 1, 2023: Chula Vista, CA 91913 The San Marcos Knights basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders to 22 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Helix for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. San Marcos will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-2.
The Crusaders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
