December 1, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28303 Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC), 55-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westover betters its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Trojans in a battle on Tuesday, December 5. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Pine Forest lost 50-42 in their recent non-league battle against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC)
The Gryphons (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
