December 1, 2024: Lanham, MD 20706 The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) and the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), observed Mt. Zion Prep Academy's basketball team knock off Archbishop Carroll by a score of 70-54.
The Warriors (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Veritas Collegiate Academy (Arlington, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
