The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) and the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), witnessed Union's basketball squad prevail over Spring Creek by a count of 81-65.

With the victory, Union advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Spartans travel to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. South Lenoir won 61-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC)

In their next game, the Gators encounter the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 4. Spring Creek will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
