High School Basketball - Non Varsity Opponent nips Allen Academy
December 2, 2021: , Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) and the visiting Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX), saw Non Varsity Opponent's basketball squad hold off Allen Academy by a tally of 47-42.
With the victory, Non Varsity Opponent improves its record to 12-28 on the campaign. The travel to Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 27 challenge on Thursday, December 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Apple Springs lost 62-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Zavalla (Zavalla, TX)
Next up, the Rams play the Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 3. Allen Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 76-16 non-league win over Latexo (Latexo, TX).
