The Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) basketball nipped the host Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX), 50-45 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Conquistadores (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Coronado got by Taft (San Antonio, TX), 63-59, in a non-league test.
