December 2, 2021: , The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was toppled 37-29 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX)
The Centurions now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodsboro for a non-league battle on Friday, December 3. John Paul II will confront a Eagles team coming off a 68-43 non-league win over Taft (Taft, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
