Washington High School Basketball - St. George's nips Medical Lake
December 2, 2021: Medical Lake, WA 99022 St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Medical Lake Cardinals (Medical Lake, WA), 61-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. George's upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 3. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Lakeside lost 67-61 in their recent non-league battle against Colfax (Colfax, WA)
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Spangle, WA). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Liberty edged Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA), 60-58, in a league battle.
