California High School Basketball - Canyon Springs nips Jurupa Valley
December 2, 2021: Jurupa Valley, CA 91752 Canyon Springs Cougars (Moreno Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jurupa Valley Jaguars (Jurupa Valley, CA), 50-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Canyon Springs upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Citrus Hill (Perris, CA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 8. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Citrus Hill won 31-24 in their recent non-league bout against San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Heritage Patriots (Menifee, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Jurupa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 72-11 non-league win over California Military Institute (Perris, CA).
