California High School Basketball - South tipped by Fountain Valley
December 2, 2021: Torrance, CA 90505 The Fountain Valley Barons basketball team scored 54 points and held the host South Spartans to 49 in the Barons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Barons now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Star of the Sea for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Fountain Valley will meet a Stars team coming off a 69-50 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CA). The Stars record now stands at 6-1.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Long Beach Poly was nudged by Alemany (Mission Hills, CA), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
