Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX), 78-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Los Fresnos upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 2. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Rio Hondo won 87-10 in their recent non-league bout against Jubilee Brownsville (Brownsville, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the IDEA Quest College Prep Trailblazers (Edinburg, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 31 bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Lyford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 61-30 non-league loss to San Isidro (San Isidro, TX).
