The McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA), 65-38 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Whitney walloped Dixon (Dixon, CA), 60-25, in a non-league test.
