Ohio High School Basketball - Benedictine nips Andrews Osborne Academy
December 2, 2022: Willoughby, OH 44094 Benedictine Bengals (Cleveland, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix (Willoughby, OH), 43-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Benedictine upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bengals host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Ursuline won 70-38 in their recent non-league bout against Girard (Girard, OH)
Next up, the Phoenix play the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Andrews Osborne Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 71-56 non-league loss to University School (Hunting Valley, OH).
