In Friday's non-league outing, the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH), by a margin of 67-42.

The Blue Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Redmen go into the Ohio Valley outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Rock Hill smashed Greenup County (Greenup, KY), 55-42, in a non-league outing.
