Texas High School Basketball - Childress can't hold off Lipan
December 2, 2022: Lipan, TX 76462 The Lipan Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Childress Bobcats to 52 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martins Mill for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Lipan will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 69-32 non-league win over Douglass (Douglass, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-2.
The Bobcats (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Douglass, TX). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Douglass was nudged by Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX), 69-32, in a non-league contest.
