Texas High School Basketball - Eastwood fells Parkland

December 2, 2022: El Paso, TX 79924

Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), 54-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastwood upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Troopers travel to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-4. V.R. Eaton won 58-39 in their recent non-league bout against El Paso (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Matadors play the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 52-44 non-league win over Eastlake (El Paso, TX).
