California High School Basketball - Fontana crushes El Monte

December 2, 2022: Fontana, CA 92335

Fontana Steelers (Fontana, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), 76-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fontana upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Steelers travel to Carter (Rialto, CA) to clash with the Lions in a San Andreas bout on Friday, December 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. El Monte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 65-49 non-league loss to Rowland (Rowland Heights, CA).
