Miller City Wildcats (Miller City, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Holgate Tigers (Holgate, OH), 42-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miller City upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Ayersville Pilots (Defiance, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Holgate will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pilots go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH).
