Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) and the visiting Kingwood Mustangs (Kingwood, TX), saw Westlake's basketball squad knock off Kingwood by a tally of 51-43.

With the victory, Westlake improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Chaparrals travel to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Cypress Falls won 55-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Holmes (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Kingwood will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 55-26 non-league loss to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX).
