Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) and the host Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ), saw Marana's basketball squad hold off Poston Butte by a tally of 58-56.

With the victory, Marana improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to play the Apaches in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Apaches come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Nogales won 64-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ)
