New York High School Basketball - Monsignor McClancy tops St. John's Prep
December 2, 2022: Astoria, NY 11105 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Monsignor McClancy Crusaders (Queens, NY) and the host St. John's Prep Red Storm (Astoria, NY), saw Monsignor McClancy's basketball squad knock off St. John's Prep by a count of 67-57.
With the victory, Monsignor McClancy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to All Hallows (Bronx, NY) to play the Gaels in a Catholic A challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Gaels come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. All Hallows lost 79-33 in their recent non-league challenge against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD)
Next up, the Red Storm play the St. Dominic Bayhawks (Oyster Bay, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. St. John's Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
