The Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) basketball felled the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), 63-53 in Friday's league test.

The Cubs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Hawks go into the Heart of Iowa - Large test with a 3-0 record.
